How Home Trial works
About the rug
Bergen is hand tufted in India from 100% bamboo silk and features a softly weathered abstract palette of ochre, blue, and neutral tones. The surface shifts gently with light, creating a calm layered effect that adds depth to contemporary spaces. The plush pile feels smooth underfoot while helping soften acoustics on marble floors. Well-suited for living rooms or bedrooms in UAE homes, it is crafted by specialist weavers and quality checked before delivery.

Washing and care
- Only vacuum clean it periodically. Avoid using vacuum beater brush mode on pile.
- Keep vacuuming gentle around edges and finishes. Never vacuum the fringe.
- Rotate the rug a quarter‑turn every 3–6 months. This evens out wear and sun fade.
- Avoid bleach, oxygen/enzyme boosters, and strong solvents unless a professional advises otherwise.
- Protect the rug from harsh, direct sunlight. Use blinds or rotate more frequently in bright rooms.
- Use furniture pads or cups under heavy legs. Avoid rolling office chairs directly on the rug.
- Protect the rug from harsh, direct sunlight. Use blinds or rotate more frequently in bright rooms.
- If spills occur, blot immediately. Do not rub the stain.
- If any thread comes out, do not pull the yarn, instead trim with a scissor.
We highly recommend having the rug professionally cleaned every 12 months in high traffic rooms and 18 months in other rooms.
